(still) life from El Gouna!

You are completely right, time for an update...
As much as i would like to, for the moment it's not possible for me to be open hearted as i am normally. Things are changing in a rapid pases but still nothing is really sure over here.
First i will tell you what happened during my absence in Gouna and than i will tell as much as i can, or as much as is sure, for the near future... What happened during my absence in Gouna was that the Dive Tribe had a surprise visit from the tourist police here. In the tribe are a few people present who do there courses on base of building op experience like internships. That's not different by any other dive center in Egypt. Almost every self respecting dive center offers these programs. And i think that all my foreign colleagues here had something like that to achieve the position that they are in now. Even in the Netherlands it's possible to get your dive master or even or instructor certification just by working in a dive center.
Any way; back to the topic, back to my past and current situation over here.
As i told when i was still in lovely Switzerland: i got quite the same email from the manager of the tribe as i got from Blue Brothers in the past. They were hit by a control and all the foreign crew had to leave the base. For some of the people was a solution possible but for me not. Why not? I can't say i don't know...
So at the moment i am packing my stuff together over here. I had contact with the owner of the house i am living in now and he was all understanding for my situation. The deposit would be payed back and he would call me if he had found people who wanted to see the house to make an appointment for a visit. So now it's a matter of arranging all other things over here; getting back things i lend out to people, saying goodbye and finishing up unfinished matters.
For the future?
Me and Astrid are still looking fine ;-)
<grin> Had to say it, you know me!
I can't say my next location, i am a bit discovering what and where. I have some offers from different places over the earth who are worth paying a visit so i am still considering. I do know that i will take a short brake; I've been in Egypt now for more than 1,5 year and i have never seen the Thistelgorm, i've never seen Ras Mohamed National Parc and i really want to see the Blue Hole in Dahab. Due to a lack of money i can't afford a safari to visit all in one, but a ticket to the ferry should be possible? So first a bit exploring some other dive area's and than...?
We will see...
Yes 'we' will see, because from end of November Astrid is joining me. And i have to say, i really look forward to it!
For so far this information, till soon, till log! Sounds good.. but also a bit mysterious.. Keep us posted!
